ADD General Actions (Tasks and Comments)

An Action is added by Clicking the ADD/TASK COMMENT button, hovering the mouse over the text and Clicking on the area where you wish to add a General Action

A modal will appear with default information, which can be changed, enabling you to choose a recipient, add a subject, date, text, attach files.

Note: Actions can only be sent to a single recipient.  The recipient's name can be chosen from the modal, if no recipient is selected it will default to the pre-set responsible person.  The responsible person is set within Management Tools menu.

Note: Some Materials and Equipment Schedules are a summary view of a larger data set. Therefore Clicking on a row in these Summary Schedules will open the interface as shown in Fig 02 below. You will then be able to add your Action as detailed above in Fig 01.

Once you have completed your General Actions these will be sent to the recipient via email.

TIP: There is no need to add General Actions to content marked TBC or Awaiting. Springboard already records this as a non conformance. Any comments made on these sections maybe closed without response.
