The Home Page
There are three Levels of hierarchy labelled as Sites, Projects and Documents which define the level of User Access and presentation of the information. The labels for each of these levels can be renamed.
The top navigation bar is always visible and provides the navigation to all three levels of information.
Home - Displays all Sites and Projects
My Actions - all open actions (tasks/comments) for the user on this Project
Main Navigation - navigate and search Sites, Projects and Documents
Search - free text search of all information in Springboard including text in PDF files
Manage - tools to manage Site, Projects, Documents, Users and Workflows
Level 1: Sites
A Site is usually defined by a geographical location (address, code, co-ordinates). It can contain many Projects and Documents.

Level 2: Projects
A project contains the information to be delivered for a particular piece of work or activity over a period of time. For example it could be a project per client, a project for a each building or location, or for each phase of a larger project.

Level 3: Documents / Disciplines
This level defines how information will be controlled and presented to each user. Security can be set to control user access levels as well as how information is presented when exported to an output format.
There can be multiple Documents within a Project i.e. Building Log Book, H&S Safety File
- Homepage - This displays all the users’ sites and its geographical location. Clicking on either the map icon or the Site/Project on the left-hand side the user can access the Site or Project
- Site/Project Overview:
- Process % - The amount of handover information that's progressed through the workflow.
- Content % - The amount of handover information that's complete e.g. Handover files, User guides, Log books etc.
- My actions – any open actions against the user
- Dashboard - Opens the Project Dashboard
- Bottom right of the screen details convey who is logged in, what day and what access level they have
- Search function is a great resource for locating anything, fast
- Actions – This shows the user how many open actions they have across their Sites/Projects

Main Navigation
This section can be accessed by choosing Main Menu or the settings icon in the bottom right corner of the Homepage. From here the user can search all Sites/Projects/Documents and see progress and actions down to Document level.
