The Home Page

There are three Levels of hierarchy labelled as Sites, Projects and Documents which define the level of User Access and presentation of the information. The labels for each of these levels can be renamed.

The top navigation bar is always visible and provides the navigation to all three levels of information.

Home - Displays all Sites and Projects

My Actions - all open actions (tasks/comments) for the user on this Project

Main Navigation - navigate and search Sites, Projects and Documents

Search - free text search of all information in Springboard including text in PDF files

Manage - tools to manage Site, Projects, Documents, Users and Workflows

Level 1: Sites

A Site is usually defined by a geographical location (address, code, co-ordinates). It can contain many Projects and Documents.

Level 2: Projects

A project contains the information to be delivered for a particular piece of work or activity over a period of time.  For example it could be a project per client, a project for a each building or location, or for each phase of a larger project.
