Your information is indexed and added to the search engine every 24-48 hours, this not only includes the typed text but also the text within uploaded document files including .pdf drawing files. There are certain exceptions to this and include .zip files, 3D model files, 2D drawings files and also images embedded within documents.

Every time you search, we index, score and rank the information based on your search criteria.

The Search will be filtered, based on the page that is in view.

  • Home page - search all sites
  • Site dashboard - search within the site
  • Project dashboard - search within the project
  • Document - search within the project

The Home Page can have multiple Sites meaning there will be a lot of information for the search tool to process. By targeting one Site, one Project or even better one Document the quicker the results will appear.

Search categories hone down the search:

  • Companies – will search suppliers, manufacturers
  • File – searches all uploaded files to the Site, Project or Document
  • Text – all text will be searched
  • Everything – exactly what it says on the tin! Be mindful this may take a little time
  • Equipment/Materials – searches the equipment/materials schedule
  • Users – searches all users on the Site/Project/Document

The results will then appear with links to click through as shown in Fig 01.

Searching on EVERYTHING will activate an additional search bar where you define the search and click on the most relevant as shown in Fig 02.
