Schedules - Multi data tabs Attributes, H&S, Spares and Files

Products/assets may need to have additional information.  Fig 01 shows where the tabs for this information can be found within the Equipment and Materials Schedule.

These are unique fields as they have a one to many relationship.

 

  • Attributes are for any supplementary information that may be of use to the end-user but not captured in the Equipment and Materials Schedule fields (depending on how it has been scheduled). It may also be used to list accessories to an item eg: Attributes within a door schedule may be a list of Ironmongery.
  • Health & Safety encapsulates Residual Risks, COSHH and Disposal & Removal where there could be multiple H&S maintenance related information related to each type of product..  Do not include information on the installation works. Refer to  this article for more information, H&S section of my schedule
  • Spares  a list of many consumable spare parts for each type of product.  Items such as lamps, filters, lubricants, cleaning fluids, gaskets.

 

Click the View/Edit Details button in the Equipment & Materials Schedule view. 

 

To access the additional multi data fields either click the arrow in the cell (Standard View) or on the Tab (Advanced View).

 

Data can be copied between multiple types using copy and paste commands (Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V).

 

Standard User mode (Fig 01) information can only be added to a single type, simplifying data entry.

Advanced User mode provides the ability to toggle between SINGLE TYPE and ALL TYPE information thereby speeding up data entry.

 

Fig 02a below shows the modal with ALL TYPE views ON (default) enabling views to be toggled OFF (Fig 02b) between SINGLE and ALL Type information being displayed.

In Fig 02b below the multi field data modals (Attributes, Health & Safety, Spares & Files) provides the ability to switch between SINGLE and ALL type information. This added functionality is provided for advanced users to speed up data and entry and file management.

The Files manager modal has the following features. 

 

Existing linked files can be copied and pasted into new rows (Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V)

 

Right clicking on the row displays further menus to enable you to search the for any existing files that already exist in the document or upload a new file.

 

Note that the "Browse/drag" feature is only available in the Single Type View.
