Springboard collects Maintenance information in two ways.

  • File linked (e.g. 1.3.6.1 in Fig 01 below) - Procedural and frequency information for maintenance is cross-referenced to a piece of preformatted literature e.g. a manufacturers product O&M manual.
  • Text-based (e.g. 1.3.6.2 in Fig 01 below) - Procedural and frequency information for each task is entered directly into the forms.

The table below compares the two possible options. It is usually preferable to use the File linked option unless the Client specifically requests the text-based option.

Both features can be used but care must be taken not to duplicate or contradict the maintenance guidance.

Springboard can include SFG20 maintenance procedures. If required please contact us [email protected]

Note: Maintenance data collection forms have pre-built tabular information containing data entry and drop-down menus.

The term maintenance is defined as follows:- Check, Change, Clean, Lubricate, Maintain, Measure, Operate, Inspect, Remove, Replace, Service, Test, Tighten, Verify.
