The main Editor page is where Information can be added to each system template in the following ways:
- Type information directly into templates - no prepared content
- Copy and pasting information into templates - Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V
- Import data from models
- Import data from tables e.g. spreadsheets, word tables
When in a section the Navigation Tree is on the left side of screen. Once EDIT is clicked within a section the editing controls will appear at the top.
Along the top navigation bar are the following buttons:
- EDIT – click this to edit information, if this is not activated, no editing can take place. If this button is not visible, the user does not have editing rights and needs to speak to the system administrator
- ADD TASK/COMMENT - enables comments to be made on the document content when in a Review step.
- GUIDANCE (ON/OFF) - in line template guidance for content authors
- SHARE - Create QR codes for any content in the navigation tree
- OUTPUT - export the document, data and file attachments into a formatted Word document with hyperlinks, asset register spreadsheet, COBie spreadsheet
- MINI REPORT - section/system level summary report

The user can also navigate to the following areas:
- Schedules - List of equipment and materials schedules
- 3D Visualisation - View models
- My Bookmarks - Create bookmark sections of the document

Additional features based on access levels include Document Reporting, File Manager, Admin Tools, Asset Manager.

The Properties icon within each section, depending on the users access levels (add link to access levels), allow the user to view Meta data information, Rename, Version control, Add Tags, Add Notes.
User Details located at the bottom right of the screen shows who is logged in and their access level. The SETTINGS icon/cog takes the user back to the Main Navigation Modal.

Springboard is an Action driven system. The Actions bar will appear either at the bottom of the screen or on the right side depending on what device is being used.
Note: comments to be made on the document content when in a Review step.

Note: If your screen is set to a low resolution the right hand task/comment display screen will appear at the bottom. To help navigation, it is recommended that the resolution on the screen is increased so that the actions appear on the right side of the screen.
